Music has always been a great part of my life.  As far back as I can remember my brother and I were exposed to all kinds of music.  My mother would rock us to sleep at night with her beautiful soothing voice, singing us into heavenly bliss.  As a child, I was always writing poems to express the way I felt. At the age of six, my beloved dog “Major” was hit by a car and killed.  Through my tears, I wrote a song about the loss of my little friend.  I found that by chanting this song over and over, I was able to cope with the pain.  I soon realized that writing songs and poems, was a way for me, throughout my life, to express all kinds of intense emotions.

I grew up spending much of my youth in a Pentecostal church, where the love of God was freely and passionately expressed through dancing and singing in the "Spirit". Through this experience and through the love and compassion that my parents showed to all they came in contact with, I was able to learn about faith, the acceptance of others and the power of God's Love.

I brought a need to passionately express myself through my college years where I graduated from the University of Rhode Island with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre.  I then moved to New York and was cast in the lead role of “Grease” on Broadway.  When I left the show after a year, I began singing in jazz and blues clubs throughout New England.  I moved to Boston and studied part time at Berklee College of Music.  My brother and I, along with the entire band, then made the move to Los Angeles, where I continued doing the club scene.

I became involved in film and television with acting roles on “Days of Our Lives”, “General Hospital” and a number of episodic series.   I began writing and singing for feature films, TV and radio.  A number of my films are currently running on HBO, Cinemax, Showtime & USA.”

I am currently in the studio recording my 2nd CD, which is scheduled to be released sometime this year.  My brother, Earl Greco and I have always worked together musically, whether it be in Rhode Island, Boston, New York or Los Angeles.  He became very well known nationally for his advanced bass technique which was recorded on the “Star Licks Video Series”. He is an amazingly gifted & creative musician who has the ability to combine   unbelievable technique with incredible sensitivity. I released my first CD titled “Surrender”, about a year ago. All the tunes except for one are my originals. I also included a few tunes I wrote for films while in Los Angeles.  After releasing my CD, I began doing the club circuit throughout New York, Connecticut, Rhode Island and Massachusetts.

While in Los Angeles I worked closely with actor Martin Landau who directed me in the lead role of the rock musical "Reach for the Stars" in which I wrote a number of songs.  I spent many hours in the studio providing the speaking and singing voices for a number of Hanna Barbera cartoons as well as commercials for radio and TV.

With such a successful career why move back to R.I.?   No matter how successful I became, I always missed the closeness of my family. In order for my music to have meaning, my life has to have meaning.   Determined to be near my family and still have my career prosper, I began accepting singing engagements in R.I.  The response was overwhelming and I was soon booked throughout New England and New York.   I hooked up with Foxwoods Casino and sang there consistently for 6 years. I decided to build a recording studio in my home, which enabled me to live on the East Coast, while continuing to record for film & television projects out of Los Angeles.

My current band members are my brother, Earl Greco on bass, Skip Fischer on drums, Clay Brown on guitar and Jody Briggs on keys and Mark Gilroy on Hamond.  Although my music is very bluesy, I like to draw from my other influences, R&B, Gospel, Funk & Rock.  I feel very blessed that the current members of my band are not only incredible musicians in there own right but they are committed to this group and the music.

As a child, my father influenced me to never run away from an obstacle but rather to embrace it completely as an exciting challenge, and my mother taught me that music is the true expression of God's love in your soul. That combination of desire, determination and faith has carried me through every challenge. I find that when I’m standing on the edge and a bit uncomfortable, and I could possibly fail miserably, I’m also right at the point where I can create something I never thought I was capable of.
